Wellbeing

Welcome to the Wellbeing Hub

At Seymour Primary School, we believe that true academic success is built upon a foundation of emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing. We are deeply committed to nurturing the whole child – supporting not only learning but also happiness, confidence, and resilience.

This section of our website provides resources, guidance, and support to help our pupils and their families promote positive mental health and wellbeing within our school community.

Growing up can bring many challenges, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed at times. We are here to help. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where every pupil feels valued, listened to, and encouraged to talk about how they feel. If you ever have any worries about your safety, mental health, or wellbeing, please reach out to a member of staff – your class teacher, tutor, or someone from our pastoral team.

Working together with pupils, parents, staff, and mental health professionals, we have carefully selected a range of resources to guide and support you. Whether you’re looking for tips on managing stress, coping with emotions, or support for yourself or a friend, you’ll find practical tools and trusted information to help you navigate life’s ups and downs.

Our goal is to promote a culture of openness and understanding around mental health – reducing stigma, encouraging conversations, and fostering a strong sense of belonging for everyone in our school community.

Take some time to explore the resources in this section, and remember – you are never alone.
