Pupil Voice

At Seymour every child has a voice and is given the opportunity to support and lead our school.

Here are the committees your child could be involved in:

The School Council are elected by the children to represent their class. They support the Senior Leadership Team in making important decision about the school by voicing their ideas and opinions.

The Eco Warrior Team led on projects to make our school eco friendly. They also help educate the school on impactful environmental actions and the challenges our world faces.

Our Librarians are committed to ensuring our school has a fantastic library for our children to read in and a wide range of books to select from. They support staff in the promotion of reading across the school.

Our Play Leaders are a group caring children who have been trained to organise activities for other children on the playground. They encourage children to join in games and to extend their friendships.

Room 13 plays an important role in our school. Our ambassadors, support our resident artist in leading on and creating projects to support our children’s wellbeing through the creative arts.

Seymour Primary School are part of TKAT (The Kemnal Academies Trust). You can find out more about TKAT by visiting www.tkat.org and you can follow them on Twitter @TKATAcademies.
