School Council

The Seymour School Council consists of 2 representatives from each class across Key Stage 2. Nominations and class elections are undertaken during the autumn term. Councillors from Year 6 take on the roles of Chair, Vice Chair & Secretary.

The School Council meet regularly and minutes of the meetings are taken.

After each School Council meeting, the school councillors feed back to their class in a class council meeting.  The class then talk together and share their thoughts.

The school councillors bring ideas and issues to the next meeting for discussion.

In this way, every child in our school has an opportunity to voice their opinions about their life in our school.

The current school councillors are undertaking an audit to gather the children's voices in the school. The link below will be open for children until the end of February.
